Among
the torrid landscape of La Mancha plains, in Montiel's field,
there appear big depressions that contain the Ruidera's lagoons.
In total 15 sound distributed in almost 4.000 hectares and
shared by the provinces of Albacete and Ciudad Real. Some
lagoons communicate with others by means of ravines, waterfall
and small jumps of water. Water that creates an agreement
of life and color with the thick vegetation. Definitively,
a microclimate in the middle of the arid landscape that does
of this Nature reserve of The Lagoons, an unique place in
the "national" territory. The first of the lagoons
is La Blanca. From it and its springs, the water communicates
with the remaining ones, Sampedra, Redondilla, Lengua, Morenilla...
up coming to the Low Lagoons and Peñarroya's marsh.
In each of the different stations the landscape accompanies
the visitors showing also different Nature reserves.
