Alsace
is the smallest French Region for its surface and one
of the most important for its wealth and its population
density. " Vosges's " clump, which isolates
it from France, was more a springboard than an obstacle
in the development of economic activities, today concentrated
in Rhenish. The European construction believes in this
moment the conditions of the most harmonious proof of
this natural way
crossing.
The physical geography and the humanized landscapes contribute
to the Alsace
identity
variety. Limited eastern by the Rhine and western by the
Vosges's wooded clump, the ditch of Rhenish's collapse
establishes the skeleton of the region.
