The name of this Region symbolizes so much the pitchfork of France as the administrative and economic head. Its capital Paris of so suggestive name is a city loaded with history. Beyond its borders, its prestige gets dark a bit everything what surrounds it. On the other hand, due to the above mentioned proximity with the capital, the region has been divided in dozen of small villages that have each one its characteristics: plain of France, Goële, Valois, French Senlisis, Vexin, Mantois, Hurepoix, Yvelines, French Brie, Brie champenoise, Gâtinais, Beauce.
