Holiday trip of 2 adults and 2 children to Corse, for visiting the island because we had heard that it was a paradise for crossing it in motorhome. The necessity to have to take ferry elevated the trip cost, reason why with enough anticipation (not habitual thing) we began to organize the trip, controlling the boat trip price, the suitable dates and the out ports because the duration of the sea travel and its cost depends of them.
The decision was to leave from Nize (France) to Ile Rousse(Corse) because it was traveled by day, not being necessary stateroom and in 5 hours you are at the destination. The return from Ajaccio to Marseilles was also adjusted because it was by day, compensating the 8 hours trip a nearer destination to Spain. The ticket reserves took place with the "SNCM - Société Nationale Maritime Corse Méditerranée" company through their Web in Internet, it worked perfectly and without problems at the embark momment. This is an important subject to solve in this trip because in summer exist seat problems in the boats.

In the island, the mainly zones to visit are concentrated in the Southern and Western coast, selecting the sites where to spend the night.
