construction that defies the balance
Rocamadour
is taken hold to the rock: houses and sanctuaries
control in a vertical line of mixed dark tile roofs
with the rock. The castle walls, finish off the bold
assembly whose foot, about 100 meters down, winds
the Alzou river.

of Santiago de Compostela
During
centuries it was one of the most famous peregrination
places of the Christian West. Still today the Black
Virgin attracts many pilgrims.
