A
region in which the nature is rich and varied. The Adriatic
Sea, from the flat and sandy coast, interrupted sometimes
by cliffs that fall down abrupt on the sea; the deep and
mysterious grottos; the natural protected areas are embellished
by cities, palaces and religious buildings almost always
enriched by architectural and artistic elements of great
relief. It is the case of Ancona's cathedral, the capital
of the region, important port of the Adriatic Sea or of
Pésaro's cathedral. In Urbino, the Ducal palace
is the surprising proof of the grandeur of the Renaissance.
