Berner
Oberland, together with Interlaken and Jungfraujoch, is
undoubtedly the Swiss region that more tourists engages.
The landscape is impressive and has all the elements of
the Alpine Switzerland: mountains, Alpine lakes, rivers
of crystalline water and wild mountain flowers.
Adelboden,
Grindelwald and Lenk has been favorite destinies of the
European nobility and the artists from the 19th century.
Interlaken is placed among the lakes Thun and Brienz and
is famous for its curative mountain climate, besides the
entry door to the Berner Oberland.
The
narrow-gauge railroad Berner-Oberland-Bahn and a net of
Alpine highways allow to accede to the tourist complexes
of Jungfraujoch's region, being the most important: Jungfrau
(4.158 meters), Mönch (4.099 meters), Eiger (3.970
meters), and Finsteraarhorn (4.275 meters). Schilthorn
and Allmendhubel by funicular, Giessbach's cataracts,
the outdoors Museum of Ballenberg and Thun's castle are
obliged visits
