The
whole region is an impressive stage. The landscape is
dominated by more than 50 peaks that overcome all 4000
meters aligned among the Rhone glacier and the Geneva
Lake.
In
summer, from the glaciers a fresh wind gets down and the
mountain peaks seem to be nearer to the sky that in other
places. Winding, the Rhone moves fed by a huge number
of creeks from lateral valleys.
In
winter, the forests deeply covered with snow contrast
in a panorama of whiteness with the wood houses blacken
by the time: An elegant wealth preserved consciously
